Support

Last updated August 17, 2026

Email support.clearly@mtappstudio.com and a person will read it — we answer support mail ourselves rather than routing it to a help desk. Replies usually take a day or two, longer at weekends, never weeks.

What to include in a bug report

These four things turn most reports into a fix in one round instead of four:

  • What you did, and what happened instead of what you expected.
  • Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About).
  • The app version, if the Settings screen shows one — otherwise say roughly when you installed it.
  • A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.

Common questions

A reminder never arrived

Check Settings → Notifications → Clearly on your iPhone and make sure notifications are allowed. Your phone schedules the reminders itself, so they also stay silent under a Focus mode, and they need to be set up again after reinstalling — open the app once and confirm the days and time in Settings.

My sessions and reflections are gone

Clearly stores everything in a database inside the app on your iPhone, with no copy on a server. Deleting the app, or setting up a new phone without restoring a device backup, removes it permanently. There is nothing we can restore from our side — by design, we never had a copy.

I want a different session length

Tap Adjust length on the home screen, or change it under How long in Settings. Slide anywhere from 30 seconds to two hours, or tap the number to type it. One minute is a real session — it is the default on purpose.

I do not want to be greeted by name

Clear the name field in Settings. The greeting drops the name and just says good morning, afternoon or evening.

Is there a guided version?

No. Clearly is an unguided timer: sit in silence or with a soft background sound, and a bell marks the end.

I want to delete everything the app has stored

Delete the app from your iPhone. That erases its database completely. There is no account to close. The anonymous usage events described in the privacy policy are not linked to you, so there is nothing to match them to.

Feature requests

Send them — with the caveat that Clearly stays focused on purpose. Requests that make sitting still easier have a good chance; requests that turn it into a content library do not.
